What we do
STARS is a charitable organisation that specialises in supporting vulnerable young people into Education, Employment, or Training (EET) that may otherwise become NEET*.
We do this by building trust, raising self-esteem and confidence, and improving the employability of 16 to 25 year olds.
*Not in Employment, Education or Training

1-TO-1 SESSIONS
ENGAGEMENT, TRUST BUILDING AND TRAINING
Alongside building self-esteem and confidence we deliver a range of training modules suited to the participants next steps.

WORK EXPERIENCE
ORGANISED VOLUNTEERING & WORK EXPERIENCE
Once the participant is ready fully risk assessed placements can be organised to enhance their progression to a positive destination.

ROLL-ON, ROLL-OFF
UP TO 24 WEEKS,
60 HOURS IN TOTAL
Typically we work with participants for 2.5 hours per week combining small group work with 1-to-1 activities.
On average it costs £1,000 to support a vulnerable young person over a 6 month period to a point where they can progress to a positive destination
